Anyhow, the thread isn't about bitching who's right or wrong on an interpretation of a post.... So quit bitchin about a misinterpretation and continue on with the discussion at hand.. eh?

Anyhow, I only recently went to a mates place and played CoD 4 on PS3 for the first time, and the lag was terrible, he usually has a very good internet connection when playing Xbox Live and whatnot, but as soon as you try a PS3 game, it LAGS LIKE A DEMON!

And people don't pay for Playstation Online. Any correlation? I think so.

Honestly, people that whine for XBL to be free, or people who say XBL is worse than PSO because you pay for it, are braindead when it comes to basic economics. If you don't PAY for something, then no one is GETTING PAYED to develop/maintain it for you.

And honestly, it's like $50 a year for XBL. Boo hoo if you can't afford that, ya' bums. Get a job. You shouldn't even be PLAYING games if you can't afford that.

If I were to get myself a PS3, I prob wouldn't be getting the PSO for it anyway, I'm quite happy with XBL, even if you do pay for it... (mind you I'm quite the poor bastard recently...)

Also, I don't find the controller layout for the PS3 as friendly with online stuff as the Xbox pad is. This is just an opinion formed in the back of my mind.. Hell, I don't even know if it makes proper sense. :P

Well, if you have a free online service, what can you expect? (I hate it when people compare Nintendo Wifi to Xbox Live, considering the one is free, it's not going to touch live at all.)

yes, PSO is free. But only playing games. Downloads, etc still cost though.

Yeah the XBL fee is quite reasonable, especially if you get the $50 card. At first it seems like a lot since you're practically paying close to the price of a new game but when you take into consideration that it's going to last for a whole year and do the math you then realize it's a good deal. Plus once you start using XBL you get hooked on it :P

BTW downloading demos etc. is free and you don't need XBL Gold for that, just clearing it up for anyone who might be confused about that.
