K, so here is my situation, i got a macbook with OSX installed, i want to play Wolfenstien Enemy Territory on it. but when i run it, all it does is make a chirping noise, and then... IT NEVER LOADS!1!
Now, i need your halp.

By loading it, do you mean AFTER the game was installed or are you getting problems installing it?

If it's already installed do this, uninstall it and download the version HERE.

Perhaps that version will work.

Well that was a fail waiting to chirp... thanx bro, but it didn't work.

I checked out the comments in some other sites that offer the OSX download and a lot of people are reporting issues. It looks like the OSX version of the game isn't too stable.

So here's what you can do:

*Update the video drivers on your laptop, hopefully they will fix the problem.
*If the above doesn't work then install Linux and install the Linux version of the game.
*If you don't feel like doing the above then you're screwed.

OSX isn't exactly ET's best friend. Seems that they rushed the OSX version and a lot of bugs were never fixed.

If your ET is fucked up right now, then you're gonna need either Linux or Windows 'cause they're not making a new OSX version of ET since RtCW 2 is coming out in the near future.

Good tips. I would suggest keeping a Windows computer for gaming purposes. But I really don't care because I don't game on my computer, so I would just fine feeling superior with a Macbook or iMac. (Just joking about being superior. God quit taking everything so seriously Snake!(For future posting purposes))
