Wii Play
This game comes with the controller bundle, therefore the controller costs $10 more than the regular price. Which means in reality your paying $10 for this game.
IMO it's not worth $10, maybe $5... But unfortunately they hardly have Wiimotes by themselves in stock (or at least when I bought my extra one) so you have to settle for this bundle. The games are alright, but are rather short. And by short, I'm talking under ~20-30 minutes (maybe even less, or perhaps a little more, but I doubt it) per round for the most part. These are games that you should definitely play with another human player as they will probably get boring quicker if you play against the computer. The top two games are billards and tanks IMO. They provided me with the most fun. Another good one is shooting range, it had potential but it's too short and easy. It reminds me of the Crossbow game that comes with the Wii Zapper. Also the games in Wii Play are more of a "I'm bored let me kill some time" sort of thing. Don't expect them to replace Wii Sports or whatever other game you play... I mean it may entertain younger children more than yourself, but the typical young adult+ won't be too amused with it. Trailer: My final words...get it only if you got an extra $10 to spare, or if it's the only way to get an extra Wiimote (if this happens don't be too disappointed since as I said it's not a total waste, there's some entertainment value in these games, well in some of them anyway). Wait... are you telling me that the wiimotes are TEN dollars while the controles for the other consoles are just about the same price as a freshly released game?

RE: Wii Play
I wish Wiimotes were $10...
I said the controller is $10 more if you get it with Wii Play. These are the current prices: Wiimote - $40 Wiimote + Wiiplay - $50 Nunchuck - $20 Xbox Gamer Blog Read The Forum Rules Pwnem Veteran <- This explains what it is and how to become one. |

RE: Wii Play
You'd have to watch out for the Wii's anti-burglar system though.
The Wiimotes zap you, then you later wake up in Bowser's cereal bowl.. Anyway, back on topic...Perhaps if they would of added some online play it might have been more worthwhile. Xbox Gamer Blog Read The Forum Rules Pwnem Veteran <- This explains what it is and how to become one. |
