I don't know if it is just me, but I'm trying to download what can't be more than a 200mb update for MGO (all it does is introduce a few new traits...), and after having it download on Peer to Peer mode for an hour, it only got to 46 percent...

Then I tried downloading directly from the Internet, waited 20 minutes, and it was at 14 percent...

The same thing seems to happen with everything I try to download, whether it be Demos, Videos, or Themes. They take forever.

What would normally take 10 minutes on my Xbox 360, now takes 2 god damn hours. What the hell.

Am I the only person having this problem?

Probably.

If it is free, it will always be slow. They don't give a monkeys rear end how long you have to wait. As long as you get, they think that is good enough.

hqahaha. Does it still go fast on your Xbox. Because if it doesn't then you have an answer. your internet connection. I download huge files and I get 'em real quick. It took me like 30-35mins to download it. I just ran it in the background.

There might have been a lot of people downloading at the time so this may have caused such slow speeds.

Or it could be that Sony doesn't give a snake because it's a free service.

Also for the record, sorry to be a spoil sport, but I'm fairly, reasonably sure Gray Fox is pretty well dead. Getting mech stomped by a 150 ton armored leg kills you pretty damn good.

It's not just the downloads though..

A month or so ago, I was at a friends (this was before my 360 died) and I took my 360 over there and he already had his PS3 there... We could play on Xbox Live with NO lag or nothing, and that was with someone else on a laptop browsing the web.. But when we tried the PS3, it lagged a little bit, but when we got someone on the internet on the laptop, BANG! lagged like an old man with a shopping cart.
