If you had £180 and didnt own any console what would you buy, a Wii or an Xbox 360 and why???

well...The first console I bought this gen was a Wii, because when it was first announced it looked fecking awesome, and while it does have a handful of really good games, and a few more coming out this year and next, it's a casual gamer spunk fest.

I bought a 360 about a month ago, and I had been plaining to get one from the start, just never got round too it, and It has bigger selection of GOOD games compared to the Wii, and nearly all of it's games are for hardcore gamers, and the online is amazing.

so if I had the experience with the 2 consoles I have now, then I would pick the 360.

Well, I got my Wii and 360 at the same time, so I was able to get a run with both, honestly, I'd go for the 360.

The Wii is fun and all, but the best games on it are for Nintendo fans, Fire Emblem, Zelda, Mario, Smash Bros. are some examples of the better titles, but the 360 has a lot more going for it, it's library is a good bit bigger and more versatile.

Well, if you prefer to get online more, 360 will more than do the job. But honestly, I would work towards getting both. Next year I plan to save enough cash and get a 360.

ya know, imo even the games on the wii for Nintendo fan's wasn't up to normal expectations...bar smash bros, I think I've been disappointed in all of Nintendo's first part stuff on the wii.

i dont have either atm, i used to have a 360 but that was a long time ago and thats what i would still go for because of the online and competitive games, when wii seems more like a party console.

I think the Wii is a very cool piece of kit and completely different from the xbox and ps3 and that why most peeps own a wii and one of the other consoles.

If im on my own i dont realy play my wii, but when my mates about 2 players playing mario kart online is great fun.

Wii sport is also good fun, anyone used wii fit and is it any good.


If i had to choose between buying a wii or a xbox i would get the xbox as there is alot more games on it i like.

Im curious if peeps had to choose between a wii and ps3 what would ya take if ya didnt have to pay off course hehe.
