RE: What retro game are you currently playing?
never played Sonic 3.. back in the day I was part of the Nintendo Force. For my Sega needs I had my neighbor who only had 1 and 2. I got these gamecube collections and eventually I really must get thru them but no save system is something else ehh.. it changes how you game when you want to try to beat something. You'd think they'd put a save state thing in there. Heck now that I think about it the VC gives you a savestate. For shame compilation disc.. for shame.

You're missing out, 3 was great. Although I found the original to be the hardest but 3 did introduce some nice new elements. I didn't play the Knuckles version though.

RE: What retro game are you currently playing?
let me tell you another thing about that compilation disc unlocking all the games (including Sonic and Knuckles) is a bloody pain. You have to play each game something like 15 times which sounds easy but you have to load whenever you do anything and that was annoying. I haven't touched it since I unlocked all the games but if I'm gonna be stuck in Canada I may have my sister mail it up to me. Least it's something my newphews can grasp gameplay wise. I love 'em but their gaming tastes are wacked.. i mean they LOVE Yoshi Touch n Go which don't get me wrong was a fun game but it's nota solo game it's not the game I'd keep in my pouch if I had to have only one game. Geometry Wars ranked far 2nd and then Kirby:CC was an even farther 3rd. *sigh* so much I must teach them.

RE: What retro game are you currently playing?
I see, that does sound annoying. However, when compared to the price of the virtual console games it sounds a lot more attractive. I know the PS2 and even PC have something similar but haven't tried them out. Since I might give away my PS2 soon, I'll probably get the GC or PC version. Although right now I'm leaning more towards the 360 ports solely due to the multiplayer.
