let us know about the maps, I may get COD4, but not really a fan of World war based shooters, they seem to slow for me, but apparently you guys seem to say its like CS?

yeah, i checked out the mutiplayer on the demo, there was about 2 real people playing..

The maps were OK. I only got to play 3/4 of the maps that I purchased during my gaming session though :P

Also, CoD 4 isn't really a WW shooter. It's modern combat, and yeah CS is a good game to compare it. There's also plenty of game modes in multiplayer so they should keep you busy for a while. And if you do decide to purchase it, the Game of the Year Edition brings the new maps. If you get the normal version you'll have to cough up 800 points to get the new maps like I did :(

what's the multi player like in COD? is the gameplay alot diffrent from single player, such as how the guns damge your oppent and such(think along the lines of CS?)

Well you still die pretty quickly in comparison to a game like Halo. But if you're good enough, then it won't matter... I ended up getting pretty good at it when I stayed at a friends place and he had it on PS3, and I played it a fair bit on PSN. IMO, multiplayer > singleplayer...

Assassin's Creed, Smackdown 08, and of course...Halo 3. Halo never goes away.

i'm still unsure on what to get...oh well, I'm stuck playing Team Fortress 2 online atm, I'm fed up of people who don't work as a team.

Lately I've been replaying FFVIII yet again and I just started Marvel Ultimate Alliance last night. Filler til Too Human comes out.

I've only played the Wii version of Ultimate Alliance, and thought it was OK. I found it to be better in co-op mode.

It's alright. It's not as good as the X-Men Legends games, imo. Some of the minor changes they made are weird and I don't know why they went that route. But I'm still digging it.
