Tekken like all fighting games are hard to pull off correctly using human actors IMO.

For example in mortal kombat Armageddon for the PS2 the intro video is pretty good. If they would of produced these fighting game movies like that they would be successful. Plus it's harder to pull off the special moves and so on with real actors, and it's more expensive for the producers.

This thread reminded me of Hitman which came out on the 21st of November.

I didn't see it yet, but it got decent ratings. If they could pull off Hitman they could probably make movies out of similar games as well. A XIII or Assassin's Creed movie would be interesting.

However, something like a Tekken movie would probably fail as I've yet to see a decent fighting game movie. The Mortal Kombat movie was rather decent though, but still it could have been much better. The Dead or Alive movie is a good example of unsuccessful conversions.
