For those of you expecting to see some nice GoW stuff on your avatar and perhaps some gore and guts, you may be disappointed to find out that the 360 avatars are only going to be used for non-violent game titles.

This pretty much means E-rated games. So expect those avatars to look like enhanced Miis but nothing more.

Microsoft said that later on they might consider the more mature avatars but for now we'll have to sit through the Mii-rated ones..

I'm guessing they delayed the mature avatars due to issues with minors that use Xbox Live. So to avoid an angry mob of parents they stuck with the Mii crap.

The Mii's are boring as heck. The customization is terrible.

Yes. But they don't allow you to sculpt any shape with them. You can only use the templates.
But still, being able to make it look similar to you is good enough.
