Warns

RE: Warns
dx4 Wrote:So, if I see a problem by a member should I:

1) Warn that member?
2) Report that member?
3) Both warn and report?

Only warn if they are spamming/flooding the forum. If you see a problem with a member who actually comes here to post (IE they are not following the rules) please notify a Moderator, Super Mod or Admin of your issue and we will work with you to resolve it.

As Gamer has said the "Warn" feature is only in place for more of the serious offences
Quote: For those of you that have the ability to warn, focus more on warning those who are spamming URLs of other websites, posting inappropriate content, and/or disrespecting other members. Let some of the minor offenses slide, and if you notice that someone is getting out of hand let me know and I'll talk to them.

If you see something that you don't feel is appropriate, but are not sure how to handle it or are not sure what you should do, let us know and we will take proper action.

RE: Warns
Finally, it came up I was right... Vote4Drizzt messed up and post a question about being a veteran in the wrong section.

RE: Warns
He didn't mess up and post it in the wrong section.

GaMeR Wrote:I think I know why dx4 might of thought the post was bad, but if you look carefully the post was on topic.

To be eligible for the free hosting it's pretty much almost the same requirement as being a veteran. So I see why he asked about the requirements of being a veteran, and yes that thread was made already, but he probably didn't see it.

Vote4drizzt did nothing more than ask a question he thought was related to the subject matter of the original question. That is in no way a warn-able offense. He had every right to ask that question.

RE: Warns
Let's just move on...

I'm locking this thread now, and as I said no need to warn for minor stuff. Worry about the spammers and troublesome members who start fights.
