It would be a type of mental control over the gravity pressed upon the bullet more than anything.

Now you see, if they actually said he was psychic or something, sure, why not. But they treat it like anyone who tries can just fling a gun sideways and cause a bullet to do a loop-de-loop.

RE: Wanted
A lot of people are stupid to things of that nature. It makes it even easier for a movie maker to create some fake garbage.

RE: Wanted
I can accept that effects of physics might be different on different world/universes but they still apply. Most of newtons laws are regarded as universal so apply anywhere in the universe, but that is not the point of this thread.

Unfortunately for you, the people that are bending the bullets/shooting the wings of fly's in the trailer are all super-villains, so it is not out of the relms of possibility that they have some other powers.

The whole point of the movie is that it is a spin on the usual superhero story as all the heroes have been killed by the villains.

I'm off to watch mythbusters make a bullet curve with magnets.

RE: Wanted
as far as i'm aware, there's no "superheros" and not only the bad guys make bullets turn. unless you've interpreted the trailer to the extent that you believe morgan freeman's character is a bad guy.

RE: Wanted
So Newtons laws are universal HERE, but for example the old Loony Toons cartoons, the laws of Physics DO NOT APPLY, otherwise, Wile E. Coyote would be smashed to pieces once and never come back.
You cannot state something like that, it simply isn't true.

RE: Wanted
Yep the laws of physics don't apply in cartoons, but you dont watch them expecting them to follow all the law of physics, and since this movie is based on a comic then it can be argued that it is not based in this universe. The point I was making is that the laws of physics apply to any movie/TV show that is based in this universe, at any point in time, cartoons don't apply to this. as they are drawn not filmed, and the original point was that this movie is going to be bad because hollywood don't follow the rules of physics in their movies that are based in the real world.

They have had to tone down the comic as it is very dark so Morgan Freemas caritor SLOAN (the professor in the comic), is in charge of a group of assassins and if you read the IMDB summary he is a bad guy. And they all have 'powers' in the movie so who says that they can't use those powers to bend the bullet.

RE: Wanted
If they possess powers, i concede, but I simply will not watch it if it is supposed to be simple technique.
