Argh! When I post a reply I must wait some seconds before I can post another one. (30 seconds I think)

lol, I think it's got something to do with spamming and/or automated bots.

I haven't encounter any of these bots for a while now. I think bots aren't a problem today. I've only seen human advertisers, they post manually their adverts. That waiting time isn't going to solve anything, because they can wait a while and then post again.

Yes, but the harder we make it for them, the less encouraging it is to spam. Keep in mind that these spammers target a bunch of forums, not just this one. So time IS important to them as well.

Plus 30 seconds isn't that bad. Perhaps I'll lower it a bit more since we have new Moderators now as well as Veterans.

I never post quickly enough to get snagged like that. Just read a couple of posts before you post, and there goes your 30 seconds.

Or find something to entertain yourself. I have a pet mouse I watch run around his cage. ^_^

Also, if the 30 second thing snags you, that means you should probably be reading more of the POST instead of just replying just to reply.
