I was searching through this forum for vigilante 8 and came across this thread: What game sequels would you like to see?.

vigilante 8 for the xbox live arcade is coming out tomorrow!!!! (nov 5th).

I'm excited about this and am glad to see people here that also share some fond memories of massive car pile wreckage.

As for Vigilante 8, sweet! I actually haven't been following XBL arcade game releases lately to be honest, so I wasn't aware of this title in particular. I just read the Wikipedia entry on it and it said that it was going to have improved graphics and multiplayer. Which means if the game is as good as it looks it'll be a nice Twisted Metal alternative to play online via the 360.

I just finished playing the demo, it's awesome.

This game is way better than Full Auto IMO. This game could easily be the Twisted Metal of the 360 at the moment. I imagine that on Live the matches can get hectic.

This is why I got to save the cash for a 360 next year. Some good titles are still getting out there for it.

omg V8 kicks so much ass. one of my fav 64 games... and this might be a bold statement but... i like it more than twisted metal. btw, any word on it having online deathmatch?

Yeah there's online deathmatch I believe but the demo doesn't let you try it out. You can however play offline multiplayer along with single player deathmatch (you vs. bots). The AI is pretty good in medium difficulty, I haven't tried the others yet.

The graphics have been significantly improved as well. I really hope they release Goldeneye HD just like they did with this game, and even if they don't add online multiplayer I'll still buy it.

yeah, even if it doesnt i have friends... that would make a good ep of pwnem... now if i could just get a "working" 360.
