I was thinking of setting the forum up in a way that it would automatically correct any typos.

However, this wouldn't pick up improper word usage.

For example: Wear can I by that game? Won't be corrected.

But something like: Wher can I buyy that game? Will be corrected, and it would look like this instead: Where can I buy that game?

The reason for this is that I know it's very easy to do a typo and not even realize it. That way it would make the posts make more sense, obviously this isn't a English professor forum, BUT we have to make sure the posts do make sense/look somewhat intelligent.

I do not think it is your duty to know this in the first place.

It is because without it I can't decide whether to think up a smart, well thought out response or just do the much easier witty/funny 2 sentance reply. They'll both get the same thing done depending on what kind of person you use them on.

@SnakeTheFox typos really don't determine your intelligence, they just show your carelessness. But at the same time this is just a forum, it's expected to make a typo here and there. This is not some sort of educational military institution. Just a place to have (hopefully) intelligent conversations about gaming and other stuff. You can easily determine someone's intelligence by their responses, and the facts/arguments they use to back up their response not by how many "lol"s they type as "kik."

I do things my way. Much easier.

That would be usefull, but I have one question. Will it effect all posts that are up or only the new ones?

It will affect all posts, both new and old.

Eh, I can only see it causing confusion. I've seen this done before, it's almost humorous how it makes things worse. Really, as long as someone makes things moderate to read, it's fine.
