I'm really surprised that there hasn't been a Twisted Metal made for the PS3.

I loved playing this series on the PS1/PS2, and still have Twisted Metal Black :)

Anyway, if they do make one for the PS3 I think it'll sell well if they manage to implement some stable & fun online multiplayer.

I saw some good things about that series. It will probably end up with M$.

I doubt it will show up on the Xbox 360 as it's been a Sony exclusive for quite some time now. But then again, this exclusive trend is slow dying off so there's still a possibility..

So had Ace Combat, Grand Theft Auto, Devil May Cry, and many more "exclusive" franchises.

If a new Twisted Metal is ever announced, it will most certainly be on both systems, if not just the 360 alone. That is of course assuming the devs have any kind of practical business sense.

I always thought myself that the cons of the twisted metal games outweighed the pro's.

Nah, I really didn't like Twisted Metal Black, it was too - pardon the pun - twisted for my liking, you know? Bit too dark, and some truly vile characters.

Give me Twisted Metal 2 anyday of the year, absolutely stunning, with a fabulous dark humour.

well, it has actually been announced that sony is going to release a downloadable version of Twisted Metal for the PS3 market place, or whatever it's called i dont have a ps3.

I saw on X-Play it was supposed to come out this month, and i havnt heard anything else.

It wasnt going to be like a full fledged game, just like what would be an X-box Live Arcade game, but yeah maybe it will come out maybe not.

I've heard about it too, but not sure if it's going to be an arcade game or not.

Apparently there was a hidden message in the 2008 Twisted Metal port for the PS2 that revealed that the developers were planning a PS3 release. We'll soon find out I guess..

i think black's controls were just God awful... i was so excited when i heard about that and i about puked when i got to play it.
