There was a fantastic little PS1 game called Tombi released midway through the development cycle of the console's cycle, and was a fun 2D Adventure game, there was a sequel, but the game's worth a fortune now on ebay.

Anybody else remember it?

Was called both Tombi & Tomba. Tombi was the UK name, so we're both correct :)

I may check it out. Tropical games are always attractive to me. I love forests and jungles.

oh man i loved that game... wish i could find a copy, i loved doing crazy stuff like swinging from the vines and everything then bouncing on a big flower ^_^ awesome!!!

That stuff is always sweet. I really love those donkey kong games too.

I think I know what you mean. I remember getting a Tarzan demo from a disc at a Papa John's pizza place, it was pretty good. Simple though.
