I just go the demo of this over Live, it is Awesometastic™!
You control your soldiers like in any RTS, except that the headset is you command tool.
You command units in the form of
"Unit 1 Attack Hostile 3"
"Task Group 1 Attack Target"
And my Favorite, "Airstrike Target"
The interface takes time to learn, but once it is done, you can order units faster that lightning.
Disadvantages:
There appears to be no" All Units" command, so you have to order groups individually.
The Units and their abilities aren't marked in game(you cannot view stats, units are marked)
The Chat with enemies is disabled, presumably to make it easier to command your forces, but talking to no one gets a little Old.
If Fallout and Left4Dead both tank, I'm after this.

Sounds fun, I'll give it a try when I log on Xbox Live.

I'm usually not fond of console RTS games though, so I'm not expecting too much from it.

Same here, I tried C&C and it was no fun at all.
But the Interface is pretty smooth and I can't explain how fun it is to VERBALLY COMMAND your units.

Thats what has been lacking for games like this. I would get it just for that. No, I kid.

I just finished testing out the demo. I also tried the voice command thing, it was pretty cool but I couldn't seem to get the hang of it. I'll probably give it another try tomorrow, as for the gameplay itself it seems like a decent console RTS but I'll stick with these games on the PC.

look pretty sweet... might be a game i should pick up for my new kickin pc.
