People are always hacking online games.

I wanna know what you guys think of it and what you do about it when you see someone hacking in an online game?

I've only really dealt with hackers on Soldat and Counter Strike.

Well, on Soldat they use BattlEye anti-hack, and the hacker community already have a .DLL that bypasses that.

It's so annoying, how hackers hack anything. It's just wrong.

Yeah, but theres not ALOT we can do about it.

Any game can be cheated.

The idea of the majority using Private Servers is revolutionary for hacker-free gaming.

I have fortunately never encountered a bad hack in my online gaming experience. I have encountered bad programing which led to endless cheating.

Lol ive encountered people that like to "HAX THE INTERNETS" all day.

What I think happens is that people get too much into the game and strive to be the best by any means. And in MMORPGs cheating is even more tempting for these individuals as they can obtain large sums of money or even level up their character faster than the average person which will give them some sort of satisfaction.

And then there are people who just do it for the hell of it to piss off others, or to make money selling character/items etc. made via using these unethical methods.

As for cheaters who use aim bots, wall hacks etc. in games like Counter-Strike, some of them do it out of pure boredom, while others I guess do it for the satisfaction of being good I guess...

I actually met a guy on Wolfenstein Enemy Territory who used an undetectable aim bot in that game, and since I was an Admin on the server I asked him to be honest about it or else he would get banned. So he admitted that he used the hack, and told me that he'd turn it off. And so he did, and since he cooperated we'd let him use the hack once in a while when things got boring to make the game a bit more challenging as he would be hard to kill with that thing. So not all these cheaters are bad, some just do it out of blatant boredom like that guy. But unfortunately not all of them cooperate like him, we had of bunch of other people who denied it...

Hackers hack games for themselves. We are the real hackers because we run their programs to hack our games.

Cheat Engine is too basic, that why theres so many hacks out there.

I've only ever done sorts of Code Injection using Visual Basic & CheatEngine, but really I don't think exploiting CE is going to help, hacking & making Trainers for games are two different things.

I don't understand. What did you do with visual basic???

Being a 360 gamer, I have not run into a true hacker, but those people who have full rank a day after the game comes out, and the ones that have worse lag than the Japanese, and it ALWAYS favors them, i suspect them, and judging by the responses I get when posting on similar topics, I think it is generally about felling big and making others mad
