Could you stop using that picture that I took, I don't recall giving you permission to use it...at all!

in a slightly different subject, why photo shop every picture you take?
It takes the natural quality and realness out of the picture...they look good if they are intended for a Sig or advert, but otherwise they just look fake.

Excuse you?

When you first posted that picture, you gave nothing as regards to the rule on what the picture was for. You simply posted it, and that was that.

I know what the rules are for Creative Commons License. Obviously, you don't.

obviously, it's common sense to ask a the original owner if you can use the picture, if anything it's out of respect and being polite.

As for Creative Commons License, my pictures aren't even licensed to begin with, so you can come down from your high horse, pal.

However, my girlfriends photographs (and that is one of them) are licensed to her. on her DA website, where she has all of her photography work displayed. professionally... since she is a photographer by trade. that picture needs to have the correct credits on it otherwise SHE can get onto you about it.

besides, if you had any respect for creative arts, you'd ask a person permission to use their image out of sheer common curtosy!

I've read this quote and heard this SO many times in the past 2 days... twice on this forum, another twice on another forum, and about 10 times IRL...

EDIT: Another sig I made today since I was bored:

RE: The Special Children!
Hi, I'm Deathnote's missus =D

Just a note to say - if you'd of quite simply asked for my permission to play with the photo and reproduce it I'd would've been happy to let you. It's flattering that my photos have inspired you to create your own version of it! I just think it's plain rude, and the ultimate show of disrespect for fellow creative folks, not to simply let them know that you're using their work to make some of your own.

Considering you seem so passionate about photography and digital art I would have expected you to realize how much of a twat it makes you appear by simply borrowing someone's work without using any common courtesy and expecting them not to take issue with it.

You could've just dropped me (or Death, since he uses the board) a message.
