Well the thing with GoW is if you happen to suck, the online experience won't be too enjoyable as you'll get your ass kicked all the time. I know from experience :P

Plus as soon as GoW 2 comes out there will probably be less people playing GoW. I highly recommend CoD 4, but if you don't like it then probably the best next thing is Halo 3 only due to the variety of multiplayer modes.

There's also the Rainbow Six Vegas series, I own the first one and can vouch for it being good. But multiplayer is too tactical for me. I usually just play terrorist hunt :P As for Vegas 2, I hear it's good as well.

I never really took to Squad based shooting games, which I believe Rainbow Six is?

As for COD 4, I've always found COD games to be slow and chunky, I'd like to get an opinion from someone who didn't like the past COD games but like COD4.

I may get guitar hero 3..without the guitar, I played the demo off live, and found it more skilfully to use the controller.

I just want a game where i can play with you guys via live. :(

Guitar Hero without a guitar is like jumping off a cliff with no bungee chord. It's needed.. However, I guess it depends on how much you plan on playing it and what skill level you plan on playing... Hard and Expert imo are impossible to do without the guitar as you've got all of the hammer ons and pull offs that really is only possible with a guitar controller.

hmmm well i've got a 8pound credit note for Naruto, which is quite good since i bought it at 15.

So i think I may go for Bioshock...or Halo 3..*sigh* I wish there was More demos on Live.

One thing that you should download off live, and i think it's free to boot, is the video Halo: Landfall. Now it's just a video, but it's a live action short movie of between Halo 2 and Halo 3 involving Brutes, marines, warthogs, etc. VERY good imo.

And to think, I was going to get Bioshock, yet I wanted something that was multiplayer, possibly Gears Of War will be my next purchase.

Well I suggest you save your money and get GoW 2. Then wait for the price of GoW to drop and then buy it. As it's still quite expensive despite the fact that it's been out for some time now.

That is, if you want the full Gears of War experience lol.

Well you could probably get a pre-owned copy of it. There's a pre-owned special edition of it at the closest game store to me, for sale for about $45.
