The impossible, Snake + Mohd Versus Nintendo Lovers.
Me and Snake has been in a war for a long time, while moderators and other Wii lovers enjoys the show like if we were gladiator in an arena. Now we form alliance against Gamer and every Nintendo Wii lover. We have been talking pretty much about the Xbox VS sony, but what about the Wii? The "best" console?
I will tell you honestly, the Wii has shallow games that good for none-gamers. Who seeks only little fun. Its a Gamecube with a remote. Its boring after you play it a while, the only game worth buying on the Wii is resident Evil.
Now Gamer, Specktern, Firo, Wizad, Rathalos, and all people over there who likes the Wii better than the 360 or PS3, its time for you to come down into the bloody arena :P
IF i had to choose between the PS2 and the Wii I will get a PlayStation 2 because of its awesome games such God Of War II.

Amen!
The Wii is, like the ds, for people with the attention span of a dead squirrel.
Its for little fat kids that their moms want to them to get some exercise but their moms are afraid to go outside because as soon as they do they are running after the nearest ice cream truck.

I never said l liked the wii better than the 360 or ps3 im looking forward to games on the wii but its not my favorite system
RE: The impossible, Snake + Mohd Versus Nintendo Lovers.
Yeah, I draw common ground with Mohd on this; The Wii is a perfectly alright console, but it isn't the best on the market. It HAS potential, as a console, but game developers treat it like more of a novelty than an actual game consoles, which is both Nintendo's and their fault for making it so "Gimmicky". The system, like all systems, has a few good games, but I just don't enjoy playing enough of them for me to consider it a contender against the 360 or PS3. The 360 and PS3, as much as I may like or dislike about both of them (Although you all know I <3 my 360) are the only TRUE next-gen gaming consoles on the market. it isn't that I'm calling the Wii not Next-gen, it's that I'm calling it not a game console. It's like the DS, it's more of a toy. A fun toy, for awhile, but most of the games I've played don't hold any depth, story or plot wise.

The Wii & DS are not meant for hardcore gaming. They are just means of passing the time and having fun. The only reason why I give both those consoles props if that they have lower quality graphics but still manage to entertain you, and they even manage to appeal to non-gamers as well.
The PS3 has brought us new enhanced graphics and longass games due to the blu-ray feature. The 360 has given us a chance to join on a great online community, with Xbox live and so on. The Wii has given us a new way to play games, and while it doesn't have in-depth games nor high quality graphics it does keep you entertained for a while, especially if your playing against another human. And the motion sensor in the Wii does get old after a while, but you have to admit that once you go back to playing with the other console's control it's not the same.
In conclusion the Wii & DS are boredom killers. And yeah I do enjoy the 360 as well (can't say much about the PS3 since I don't own one nor do I know anyone who has one that lives nearby). However, the 360 is for when you want to pwn some n00bs on Live and trash talk.

So i think that the Wii should become more like an arcade kind of thing, then people would buy it and the shallow gaming experience would actually be wanted.
The way they could do it is to have a Wii in the designated area, have the Wii-mote the ability to store memory, through a memory card of some sort would be perfect. So the person's info scores and possibly game date for RPG's, would be stored safely.
Nintendo would make A LOT more money on the arcade-type Wiis and on the Wii-mote+memory card then selling it as a home console.
Where as the 360 and the PS3 would fail because of their, well you know.

Well, yeah, Wii attracts the none-gamers because the games are simple and what you guys call "simply fun". Most of the nintendo games are just shallow and its cheaper. But if you want real home console, buy a xbox/PS. I dont know much about you, but I value story-line more than anything else.
The Wii song, it proves that I am not the only one that thinks the Wii gets boring after playing it for a while. I have been invited to my friend house loads of time to play the Wii, well its awesome in the first 2 hours. Then it gets boring..

Kinda fun for party games, if you have a huge-ass living room/TV.
We have both and it got boring, we found ourself going back to Mario party (Which is a great party game.) and to Super Smash brawl.
Now we're transfering to PS3 or the Xbox 360 for the hype and the thrill, Gear Of War, Resistance, Six Vegas, Warhawk. Yeah most of those are FPS, but we play Tekken also.
I don't know, the Wii doesen't give you the same thrill as the PSX360

After being hooked on a couple of MMOs I've tended to stay away from those addicting games with a long story line and instead shifted to games where I can play them, have a good time, and then stop and come back when I have the time. And your right the Wii/DS doesn't have as complex games as the other consoles BUT that's because it's cheaper & has lower specs. But the reason why I give them props is despite the low specs they can still keep you entertained, and have brought a lot of non-gamers into the market.
@ Mohdgame, I think you meant Super Smash Bros. Melee, as Brawl hasn't come out yet. Anyway, when Brawl does come out I have a feeling it will be one of the best fighting games for Next Gen consoles. The 360 has DoA, the PS3 has Tekken, and the Wii will have Brawl. Once Brawl is released we'll know who's #1 for fighters.
