yeah, I heard the new "Tales of" game for the 360 has a demo on live marketplace, I can't find it anywhere...so i'm guessing marketplaces is different for each region, which sucks, so anyone have an idea on when EUR get's this demo.

I can't seem to find the section where it lists the demos.. Of course there's an unofficial way to get the demo. Make a free US silver account for the sole purpose of downloading our demos (I'm not endorsing this :P).

I can't say I enjoyed the demo a whole lot. It felt like cheaper version of Eternal Sonata - which as far as RPG's goes, was alright, but not great.

I gave this demo a shot today. It's fine, I suppose. I'm still relatively new to RPGs. I'm trying to get a bit more seasoned in them but I don't think this one will be the game for me. The look kind of throws me off too. I don't know if this is normal for RPGs and I am just nuts, but the deep backgrounds and scenery mixed with the 2d, rather flat animation throws me off.

I thought Eternal Sonata tackled that style better. Tales of Vesperia looks really bland in comparison.

And it looks like it's about little kids.

it's a Jrpg, most Jrpgs involve kids mostly teens.

but if gordon freeman was, say a teen or something, it wouldn't make the orange box a bad game.
Eternal Sonata was only pretty much good graphics wise, and what "Tales of" games normally goes for is cel shading, whereas Eternal Sonata was a more CGI anime effect.

no, nothing happens.. You just can't play games, and maybe another thing or two.. Otherwise, it's exactly the same.

You can't play games online with the silver account, but that's pretty much it.

Just make sure to keep your gold account as your default so it logs into that automatically instead of the silver one.
