World Of Warcraft Poll

RE: World Of Warcraft Poll
I voted no. JoeSchmo let me play a new character and I thought it was pretty interesting, but I have a mac at home and I'm pretty sure WoW doesn't run on that without downloading a thousand patches to convert it...And its really not worth it to pay 15 or 16 dollars a month to play this game.

Yep.. I wouldn't pay for WoW... it's just as bad as paying for Runescape :P Oh and welcome to the forums Courtney.

Even if you think it's a little too expensive I'd just like to point out that World of Warcraft is Mac compatible.
All of Blizzard's games are able to be played on Macs.

The only patches that you'd have to download would be general fixes and updates.

RE: World Of Warcraft Poll
Yeah it works great on Macs from what I hear, a friend of mine recently switched over from Windows to Mac and he said he didn't encounter any problems.

RE: World Of Warcraft Poll
There were multiple times that I would play WoW for about a month or two and then abruptly stop and cancel my account.

First time, I made a human priest and got to about level 20-25 or so. Second time I made a draenei warrior and got to level 41.

And of course I didn't buy the games, my brother bought them and then stopped playing, so I reactivated the account and paid myself. Good times...

RE: World Of Warcraft Poll
I've played it for about 2 years.

I don't play nearly as much now as I used to. Now I play about an hour a week where as before I would be playing 2 to 3 hours a day.

For me it's just a placeholder, when I'm bored and I really just don't feel like doing anything else I'll hop on and level a character or PvP on my main or something.

RE: World Of Warcraft Poll
I retired in playing WoW 2 years ago. It's truly addictive but because of my trouble in studies, I decided to give up WoW.

Yeah, Warhammer looks pretty sick, I tried it once but it kept giving me this weird error so I couldn't use it.

I'm going to have to try the trial again once I get my new desktop.

Although I'm definitely getting the Star Wars MMO when it comes out, that is like a dream come true.
