Its not to do with the games, or the controller as im comfortable with both, the online seems to be as good/bad as eachother.

The reason i only play ps3 is simply because all my xbox's stopped working (3 of them in under 2 years) and my ps3 has always worked fine in the 2 years ive had it, even though i have an old PS3 there are just no problems with it crashing or anything.

My only quarm about the PS3 is that everyone has an xbox lol, in my circle of friends its about 7o% Xbox to 30% playstation console users.

I've read all of the first page of this thread and I must agree with a lot of what the OP has said. But unlike the OP, I don't own a PS3, but my dad does. And unlike the OP, whilst I do see the 360 as superior, I don't think the PS3 is a POS and I think it stands on its own merits. I also thought the PSP was a good handheld, on a sidenote. (Not as good as the DS, mind.) What's the main thing that makes me consider getting a PS3? The possibility of a price drop, and most importantly, exclusives. But it seems the latter has over the years has been less and less significant. A lot of the best exclusives are on the 360, and a lot of games that were going to be PS3 exclusives are being released for the 360. There's plenty of talk about Metal Gear Solid 4 coming to the 360, with the recent HD release.

I even heard that the Final Fantasy X HD release might come to the 360. If that's true, I'm holding back on getting a PS3 for considerably longer. Why waste money I could spend on 360 exclusives on another console just for a few great exclusives?
