As in a whole new console from Microsoft? I hope to see one later on. I love that these next gen consoles are taking it slow. Usually they bring out a new console every 5 years or so and so far it's been 6 years for the 360. Do you guys think we'll see a new microsoft console in 2013, 2014 or 2015. I see it near 2014 in my opinion and I hope that's when it comes out.

Depends how long this generation is profitable for Microsoft, as soon as sales stop generating large amounts of revenue, and game sales drop down below a certain point, then you can bet your bottom dollar Microsoft will leak information about their new console. Right now, I'm guessing it'll be sometime in 2013 that we get a new console.

microsoft expects the life span to be at least 5 more years. said that when they released the s model.

When will we see another Xbox? About a year before we see another PlayStation, lulz

I'm not sure it will be that quick, microsoft may just build another add on for it like they did with kinect, we have seen what theyre like with windows lol, in my opinion another console would be good, but my question is would it compete with sony and the rest, for i do happen to think that sony grabbed a lot of the market with their PS3 it being so versatile

Well, your guess is as good as mine. I personallly hope that it comes out around 2 years from now. Just think of how the powerful the graphics card will be by that time.

I do wonder if they'll keep supporting the Kinect when their next console comes out or if they'll scrap it for a superior replacement as although the Xbox 360 itself has had a long lifespan, the Kinect is still young and don't think they can easily top that off.

How much revenue is the Kinect generating? Though I think its likely they will still support it.

i think microsoft will come up with another console, but while releasing that still support kinect, i am only guessing but i hope the new console will be compatible with kinect and xbox 360

Current strong rumors point to Christmas 2012 with a system codenamed "Xbox Loop" that has a 6-core processor, multiple GPUs, multiple gigs of RAM, and some ability to upscale the graphics fidelity of existing 360 games. EA and Ubisoft are said to already possess target hardware kits for development. The timing would make some sense in order to go up against Nintendo and beat Sony again.

However, in light of huge 2012 titles such as Bioshock Infinite and Halo 4, it's confusing how this would work. Release those games on the old system?
