RE: Old Fighting Games
I liked SF2 originally, then got into MK and it went real bad after all the 3 spin offs, but that was ok because sfa was so good, and 2 was on snes too.

RE: Old Fighting Games
The whole SF series rocks and I can't wait until SSFIV breaks out onto the PS3.

RE: Old Fighting Games
Can't say I'm too excited about SSFIV but willing to give it a try when it's out.

But getting back to older titles, I'm a bit surprised that Killer Instinct still hasn't made it's way to XBLA/PSN yet...

RE: Old Fighting Games
Killer Instinct is the only game that ever rivaled Mortal Kombat for me. Great in Arcade, good on SNES

Ultraaaaaaaa Comboooooooooooooooo!!! Bring Back Killer Instinct!!

Killer Instinct and Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting Turbo were my favorites.

RE: Old Fighting Games
yeah man, i'd love to see some classic fighting games brought back...Wii is probably the only one who would do it correctly kind of like the new Super mario bros, which retains alot of classic charm...but i'm guessing at this stage Nintendo is probably more against aggressive games like mortal kombat and killer instinct.

RE: Old Fighting Games
While a straight-up port would work fine on the Wii, this would mean that online play would be excluded as the VC currently doesn't support it whereas on the 360/PS3, the chances of HDTV support as well as online play is more likely and therefore, would be a better choice IMO.
