Man I hope its good, I would love to buy another sega. But im not going to waste any money either. Ill just have to wait and see how it turns out. There is not enough info on it right now to say whether or not ill be getting it.

Well it's just a rumor still at this point and assuming it's true, they won't be entering the market until the next gen begins which is going to be a while since the current gen seems to be satisfied with their current hardware and is simply revising it.

My little bro and I were always Sega fans. We needed the blood in Mortal Kombat. :) A visit to an aquaintance's house and a little run-in with Sonic sold us when we were 9 and 10.

A new console?! Haven't heard word of this, I guess I have some rumor reading to do.

I wonder what they'll call it, hopefully, it won't be something stupid...

All I know is, definitely not going to be "RingEdge" as some old rumor had stated as while it was Sega hardware, it was for the arcade platform, not the home console market.

Two words: Dreamcast 2. They can name it that as long as they don't market it the same.

I hope Sega comes with something new . I grew up on MK . I think Sega did it better than any system in fighting categories . I wonder how they'll make it . I just hope it's original and doesn't try to take another system's look . ( cough cough* new Xbox 360)

I didn't see anything about a new SEGA console at the link in the OP...

The website he posted had a link to it in the sidebar but apparently it was some widget that by chance happened to have that article in particular which is now gone...so I replaced the link. However, the link I posted is not the exact one mentioned as I couldn't find it anymore but it actually reveals more than the original one. Basically it appears Sega is working on a console due to the fact that they have some deal going on with Imagination Technologies who unveiled some impressive hardware.

I hope this is one big joke. I mean it's not like most of their games are top class. They need to focus on their games for than bringing out a new console. 3's enough IMO.
