So let's see...Which handheld has gotten Spore, an upcoming GTA title, and games like Assassin's Creed / CoD 4 in the past...Not the PSP, but the DS.

But wait there's more, the PSP has also been revised a lot more than the DS, why? Sony is trying to get sales that's all.

There's also a new PSP in the works called the PSP 3000 rofl.

However, I'll admit that it does look pretty sleek (the 3000 that is). But the only new addition is a brighter screen and a built-in mic.

The PSP will probably continue to dominate in terms of graphics, but it's lagging behind in titles. The DS is getting a lot more attention, and developers have finally started to unleash it's true potential. It had a rough start in the past years, but it's heavily taken off since late 2007.

And yes the PSP does have some good games, as well as superior specs. But overall it's finally getting closer to it's demise. The only reason why some people probably still have their PSPs is due to the fact that they've managed to install custom firmware and are having fun with homebrew/emulators.

Yeah I had both DS and PSP and I kept the DS because I love playing Mario Kart with 4 of my other buddies in science class :D

Can't really do that with most PSP games. I mainly use the PSP for a internet siphon to connect to my neighbors internet lol.



And another funny thing is when my bud Steve loseshe cusses loud, and I mean like AHHHHHHHHH F**K!!! and then he got suspended lol.

lol im awesome at mario kart i mean im really good

my ds top scren broke befor i got my zelda ds lite

and we played multiplayer with my kart i won by pure snaking and using the bottom screen map to guide me though the race XD


also lol the new psp fails its just a slim with a better scree and built in mic

my plan is to by a psp-3000 screen and put it in my slim

i use my psp for movies (*cough cough*) now :P

How did your top screen break?
I have had my DS for 3 years, not a scratch on the touchscreen or top screen. No I don'thave screen protectors either.
The PSP was and is a great idea, but it has its flaws as does everything else. It isn't much different than playing an old console, the d pad has been around for ages now. DS went above that with it still there. I don't think the PSP 3000 is going to have much success. Nintendo has been making handhelds for a long time and the next portable Nintendo device I am sure will succeed success of the DS.

actually nintendo have made a smaller ds lite it has no gba slot

there waiting till ds lite sales actually drop before releasing it

My PSP is really just a glorified MP3 player/ Gameboy Advance, really.

All I use it for is to play GBA games on an emulator, and listen to moosac.

Ocasionaly, I'll ISO a PSP game, and to date the only PSP game I've forked over money for has been God of War

Proof? I can't see Why Nintendo would do that at all.

The Lite is small enough, and People still play GBA games.

Well the GBA SP was a pretty good size IMO but yet they still released the Micro which didn't sell too well.

If they do make an even smaller DS, I highly doubt it will sell well as the screen would probably be too small and it'd be something that is mainly targeted at younger kids due to the hand size required to play that thing efficiently. I know I wouldn't buy it, plus the lack of a GBA slot makes it even less appealing.

I can't find anything about another DS Lite. Wouldn't make sense anyway. It is time to move up the Portable generation.
