Live in the Midwest? Check us out at Kokomo-Con 2011
**UPDATE**
I definitely need to decorate the booth much better next time but overall, it was fun. This time, I got to meet Master Chief who reenacted typical behavior from his games. ********** Live in the Midwest and want to chill with us in person? Check out our booth at Kokomo-Con on October 8th, 2011 at: Kokomo Event Center 1500 North Reed Road (U.S. 31) Kokomo, IN 46901 10 AM - 6 PM (main exhibition, our booth) Game room is available until 11:45 PM It's about an hour away from Indianapolis. We'll be running a booth there to showcase the website and have a couple of gaming setups. The convention primarily revolves around comic books but there will be some board gaming as well and of course, video gaming at our booth. A couple of the games that we'll have available: Time Crisis: Razing Storms (PlayStation Move) The Fight: Lights Out (PlayStation Move) The Shoot (PlayStation Move) Castle Crashers (PS3) Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 (PS3) Ikaruga (Xbox 360) Toy Soldiers: Cold War (Xbox 360) Rocket Riot (Xbox 360) Black Ops: Dead Ops (XBox 360) Super Mario All-Stars (Wii) Bit.Trip.Runner (Wii) The Kinect will be set up as well but I'm currently trying to finalize the list of what will be available for that. The actual library will be larger but those titles above have been selected as they're more suitable for shorter sessions. If you live in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, or Ohio, it shouldn't be too long of a trip. Also, if you're able to make it, the first 3 members to stop by our booth will get their admission reimbursed to help you save some money (must have been a member for at least a month). Some sort of giveaway at the convention is planned as well but am still ironing out the details. Admission is $5 if you pay in advance online, not 100% sure about the at the door rate but I believe it's no more $10, for more details go HERE. As for transportation, there is a Greyhound stop in that city but am pretty sure the nearest airport is in Indianapolis and the only way to get from there would be to either drive there or get a cab (which would be quite expensive). |

RE: Live in the Midwest? Check us out at Kokomo-Con 2011
I updated the OP with the only recording I did at the show as I was busy with the booth but definitely had to take the opportunity to film Master Chief in action. He actually did a pretty cool skit at the end but I accidentally stopped recording so I improvised with what I managed to capture.
Also, for those of you curious about the costume, the cosplayer told me they made it themselves for under $100 if I remember correctly. A pretty good DIY outcome IMO. |
