Not too sure what to think about this game. My friend recommended me playing it, but idk if it's worth the time. it's appearantly based off a Warcraft 3 custom game type called Dota. It's in a whole seperate genre by itself called action-rpg, or something like that. I was wondering if anyone has played it, and their opinions on it.

I have played it and currently still play it. I personally enjoy the game, but I guess it just depends on what you like.

I play whenever I can, though its pretty hard to get into at first what with all the people who have experiance smurfing (me included) but perserverance is the key, once you get to about level 11 or so the smurfs drop off a bit and its more balanced.

Dont spend to much IP on champs early, play the free ones so you can get a feel for what you like and save your ip for level 3 runes which you can purchase at level 20 and make quite a difference compared to the lower tier ones. Learning to last hit makes the game easier as well, and videos like Sheurelia's zoning tutorial really help.

I know last hitting is important and makes a difference, but believe it or not, my attention span is that bad that I get bored if I'm not always moving or attacking..

League of Legends automatically looks for people around the same skill level so after at least 20 games you should be playing against people of your skill level. When starting out just copy the recommended builds and also add hp, armor, and MR depending on the enemy team. You should probably play against bots initially until you can get at least a KDA ratio vs bots of 5:2:5, but it really does not matter too much since you will likely queue with people of a similar skill level later on.

When I created my second character my 3 allies ended the game with a total of 50 deaths and 2 kills in my first game. It was terrible and those 3 had 5 deaths before minions spawned. Occasionally the game will end before it begins and you have to surrender to 20 or else. (the 3 would not surrender)

The genre is called action rts and it is fast paced action.

Good places to look for Guides on how to play the game and the mechanics as well as specific champ guides are MOBAfire.com and Leaguecraft.com, the league of legends sub reddit is a good friendly place to ask for help also.

Its funny, my firends gave me shit at how fast I clicked when playing the game( running around last hitting, attacking enemies and just going places) then they started playing and click as much as I do. I got told to F off when I pointed this out. xD
