Guitar Hero For PC!
Do you like Guitar Hero?

Well now you can play it on your PC, using your keyboard! This game is very similar to Guitar Hero, and best of all it's FREE!

Get it @ http://fretsonfire.sourceforge.net/

It's available for various Operating Systems.

There's also a flash clone of this game which you can play online for free called Flash Hero (Keep in mind that the graphics aren't too great, and that you can't import your songs in this version. So if you want a better game get Frets on Fire OR the official Guitar Hero PC game which is already out, it's not free though lol)

*EDIT* If you want the official product then get Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, unfortunately there's no demo for that though so you'll have to buy it if you want to play it.

yeah frets on fire is good but it can be a pain editing your own songs, especially when its like frampton or skynard and the songs last about 13 minutes. plus it only comes with like 3 premade songs so yeah, but you can always download premade songs.

He who appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward, he who cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant "If I live I will kill you, If I die you are forgiven." Such is the rule of honor!

Guitar Hero is a game... where you play guitar... similar to the idea of Singstar.

Here's a video demonstration of Guitar Hero:

And yes the guitar controller is part of the game.

RE: Guitar Hero For PC!
Well this game isn't really too realistic in terms of comparing it to playing a real guitar. And yeah you do use a guitar controller, but if you look at the way the game is played your actually just tapping colored buttons which appear on the screen rather than simulating the actual method of playing a guitar which involves the strings and so on.
