Far Cry 3 is going to leave the African savannah behind and head back into the jungle sometime next year. Is anyone else excited about this?

Yeah, farcry 2 wasnt as good as the first one, I hope they go back to the original style. 2 had too much walking and driving around imo.

Never completed the first Far Cry, didn't care for 2 (I was told not to). Could give this one a go if it turns out better than 2.

Well I got the first one for xmas but only have like 30 mins of gameplay so far, been playing fallout 3 and ac which I also got and like more

My least favourite thing about farcry 2 was that fire was limited. its only burned a 30m or so are then fizzled. I wanted to be able to burn huge tracts of the savannah, be able to destroy an enemy outpost by lighting a fire nearby, but I guess that would have been op.

Any Far Cry 3 fans here? I purchased it like 3 weeks ago, and I'm loving it!

I merged your thread with the existing one. As for FC3, haven't had a chance to play it but was at someone's house the other day who was playing it on the PC.

Seemed pretty badass.

I don't own it, but I've seen hours of it on youtube (let's plays lol) :p seems like an awesome game :D

I want to check it out... haven't played the first 2, but 3 looks awesome. And the lead character dude is hot as hell... so that's another plus LOL It's on sale right now, but still $30 or $40. I'll probably download it and if i like it buy it.

My friend just bought Far Cry 2, but he didn't like it :p
FC3 however is GOTY for me :)
Vaas is the best villain ever :p and the voice-actor who played him, really is one of the best ever :D
