lol I don't think SnakeTheFox agrees with you on GoW 2 though, the other thread he made can be found in this section as well I believe.
As for the difficulty, when I did a search for Fallout 3 sucks most of the results are just people complaining that it's too hard therefore it's an invalid claim for the game sucking. Read The Forum Rules Pwnem Veteran <- This explains what it is and how to become one. |

RE: Fallout 3 (and why it's the greatest game of this generation)
I'll actually disagree, I've found it to be a tad on the easy side. But then again I'm playing it on 'normal', so maybe I should crank it up.
Commando Perk+Better Crits Perk+Finesse Perk+Sniper Perk+High Luck+High Small Guns Skill+High Repair Skill (for making the gun better)+Lincolns Repeater= Easy Street. I 1-hit kill Deathclaws and Tesla Armor Enclave at 50m with this shit, and that's with 'sneak' off by default. Still a great game. I'm planning on making an evil character next with high Unarmed Combat skill+Iron Fist Perk+Paralyzing Palm+Bloody Mess= 1-hit kills on raiders, as I punch them and they literally disintegrate into a splash of blood and gore. The only other legitimate complaint I can muster is that the leveling is too quick. I got to level 20 already before I even completed half the side quests. Hopefully those expansions Bethesda is going to be releasing will add an additional 5 levels or something (along with another 5 perks, maybe?). ![]() http://getoutofherestalker.blogspot.com/ |

RE: Fallout 3 (and why it's the greatest game of this generation)
The game sounds great but I only have 2 questions. How is it on the PS3. I only have a PS3 and Wii. So I'm a little worried about theses 'issues' people are talking about. but then again the gaming culture tends to make mountains out of molehills on quite a frequent basis. I remember when Halo 3? came out and people were up in arms over something like 3 lines of resolution. If it's graphical stuff like that then I don't care but if it's stuff like with Eternal darkness where it plays like the CD was scratched for no reason then I might reconsider.
The other thing I'm interested in knowing is the replay. Of course there's the different quests you can do but does anything carry over aside from my personal knowledge of the game? is there a "New Game+" mode? I'm not saying that's a deal-breaker like the first part but it's something I'm curious about. |

Eh a PS3 owner, ill let you off because your new. I been over to my friend's house to play this game and it works fine at his house on his PS3 so I would see no issue with yours, but make sure you do the research and rent it before you try it. You know like make sure its your kind of game. @My Last Post: Nevermind I did everything and I am fine now >.< |

(11-18-2008 08:10 PM)JoeSchmo Wrote: @Snake You probably have to head through the Subway to get there. Generally speaking the D.C. area is densely urban with few-to-no areas where you can just 'walk down a street' to get where you're going without being cordoned off by a wall of rubble. If it's directing you to a Subway, head down it and follow the little glowing marker to wherever it tells you to exit; the Subway system is your main route of access to nearly everything in the D.C. area, so prepare to do a lot of this. ![]() http://getoutofherestalker.blogspot.com/ |
