Castlevania DS games
Anyone a fan of the Castlevania games for the DS?
I love them, especially Dawn of Sorrow. Reminds me of the SNES days which I loved I also love the feeling the 2D Castlevania games have.

RE: Castlevania DS games
The 2D Castlevania's are the best! And Dawn of Sorrow was one of my favorites as well =D I haven't played the other two on DS yet, but I played the GBA release, and SotN on PSX =P

RE: Castlevania DS games
Lets see, Dawn of Sorrow was good, and so was Portrait of Ruin. I have not played Order of Ecclesia, though I would like to.
But along the lines of 2D, I got hooked on the series with Symphony of the Night, since I never owned a Nintendo system when I was a kid. http://diablo343.blogspot.com http://videogamespot.wordpress.com/ The Gaming Savant, Ryan Smith

RE: Castlevania DS games
The GBA ones, esp. Aria of Sorrow, were some of my favorite handheld games ever. There's just something about platforming with inventory management that rocks, though I guess that goes for all Castlevanias. Which native DS ones are the best? And which are 2D or 3D?

RE: Castlevania DS games
^ I don't think there's a 3D Castlevania on a handheld so far.

Nope there aren't any 3D ones on the DS (or any handheld yet). I would say Dawn of Sorrow is the best. I think it would definitely be between that or Portrait of Ruin. Order of Ecclesia is good but the other two are better IMO. |

RE: Castlevania DS games
I would recommend all three of the Castlevania for the DS they are all great and if you can find them you should even play the ones for the GBA.
For there's is the power and this is the kingdom as sure as the sun does burn. So enter this path, but heed these four words, you shall never return... |
