While those avatars look like something you'd see in a 3D Maple Story version, they at least look flexible in terms of creativity. The Mii and NXE avatars should take notes..

Which game do you see Big Boss? Because I haven't played either MGS3 or 4.. (well not all the way through them anyhow)

The whole story line of MGS3 is Big Boss's tale of when he worked for Foxtrot back in the 50 / 60's

He started out as Naked Snake then Big Boss after the end of MGS3

So the story goes MGS 3,1,2,4

Seriously. They do look kinda like MS chars. I really don't like the NXE avatar system though, reminds me too much of a wii
