Woot! I love clicking on the thread to find out an explanation of the award system and to see if I'd be getting one, and find that the last post in the thread gives me one.

If someone could double check this for me, for whatever reason, the descriptions for the awards are not appearing when I hover over them. But descriptions do show up when I hover over the buttons in the posts. If we could coax the pics to display their names, it would be preferable to looking up this thread for the descriptions link. Further, when you click on the awards, the page that lists who has the award doesn't include a description of the award.

Just a few suggestions. Otherwise, I'm loving the new system!

Yeah, 4500 GS award. Didn't even noticed I'd gotten it XD

Anyway, I really like these awards, especially the "Valued Member" one, and the year long member/post count ones. The first gives those who get it a nice feeling of accomplishment, and the others are like saying thanks for sticking with it.

@ HellRaiser785, the reason for some awards not showing a reason is due to the fact that I didn't input one for certain awards. I will eventually fill in something there though but right now my goal was to make sure they'd work. For the 360 based awards, I think a link to your 360 profile would be a good thing to put in for a reason so people can see your achievements. As for the post count ones, I'll probably just add in a comment about your membership on the forum.

Also, I've added in a new award for posting at least 20 threads in /random - yes that's Mr. T :P

*EDIT* Just added another award for members who created a "hot thread" (threads with 100+ replies).

I like the idea, here are mine.

A picture of a Police Badge, for warning or otherwise correcting a troll.(Troll Patrol)

A picture of a hood, for banning a troll or otherwise miscreant member.(Call it Reaper, and have medal colored editions for how many they have banned)

A picture of a Broom for removing a set number of useless threads( Janitor)


A picture of a Tin Cup, for donating a set number of PWN$ to other people.(Charity)

A picture of a bloodshot eye for spending a set number of PWN$ in the slots(Junkie)

A picture of a teddy bear for calming a dispute(Lover)

A picture of a Boxing Glove for participating in a dispute(Fighter)

A picture of a Book for a post over a certain number of words long(Chatty)

A Picture that says Jackpot for winning an item in a contest on the forums(Winner)

A Picture of a Hand for helping with issues or answering questions(Big ones) on help threads(Knowledgeable)

And finally a picture of a Mushroom for contributing a suggestion that gets used on the forum.(Power Up)

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll try to implement some of them.

The slots one won't be implemented though as the slots are no longer with us..As for the moderator only awards, while punishing troublesome members is part of their role, that's something that you wouldn't necessarily strive for. I'm trying to make awards for things that you should strive for, rather than routinely tasks. However, I guess I could pimp out their "badge" to show a reaper as that would make it stand out more - so the suggestion can still be implemented like that.
