Oh what, we're doing 2009 predictions? Oops. Then I predict that the economy will suck, Obama will get some good policy through Congress but it will take a while to take effect, and that I will be unable to cross the 20000gs threshold because I will finally find work and become quite busy.

Besides Mario's appeal is for kids, but he still has had some of the best games to appear, does it matter that it's a bit cartoon-ish? I swear people who use the term "Kids games" pisses me off, unless Of course you mean EA's family workout or any other of the crappile that's out on wii then I'll let you off.

Wii in the lead, more casaul crap gets released, a few really good hardcore games gets released, not enough to convert most people tho. 360 sales will increase and remain a close second. PS3 will have a slight boost in sales, then floop again, and remain in a distant 3rd place. ze end. oh and DS will be pissing all over the PSP again.

2009 I think its gonna be like this

I don't see the PS3 moving enough to get ahead of the 360 unless they get a price cut. Until they do, I think everything will continue as it's happening now, just steadily increasing.
