Now I'm fairly sure most of you weren't privlidged to playing Star Ocean: TTEOT (sadly), but you may yet be able to play a GOOD jrpg.

Now without getting into too much detail, Star Ocean: TTEOT (or Star Ocean III/3) was an epic mindfuck of unreal proportions, and a damn good RPG with a *gasp* GOOD battle system that was real time. The plot blew my mind as a kid. tl;dr the whole universe is a computer simulation run by intelligent aliens.

Anyhow, the new game by Square is The Last Hope, and so far it's looking cool. No idea about the plot yet, though.

So far it's 360 exclusive, and Square has at least announced that if there is a PS3 release, it will be after the 360 one. Sony is really failing on the JRPG market this Generation.

I played a star ocean game ages ago on the PSOne, it was awesome from what i remember of it, I'm looking forward to this, I don't really like real time battles, but if anyone can handle them well, it's square(or namco..).

Well this is ever so showing that Square is warming up to M$ and shying away from Sony. That pic looks bloody good though, i thought it was a photo at first...

I remember playing a bit of Till The End of Time, getting hooked, and become quite annoyed at not finding it in stores.

This was before I trusted buying things online, of course =P

This looks pretty promising, a new Star Ocean game is welcome here

I have Till the End of Time in my pile, but I never finished it. I'm not really sure why :|
Looking forward to finding out more about the new game though.
