Some lucky prick got a copy of Spore a week early, so he has a live stream up showing off the game.

Pretty fun to watch, if I do say so myself.

*update* Stream is down now, the guy did play for like 4-5 hours though. It'll probably be back up later.

Wow, that link got a lot of attention.

There's a lot of people in that particular chatroom even though it's offline at the moment..Also, apparently he got a legitimate copy of the game and not a leaked one as I suspected.

ive stopped after the 3rd stage, got kinda boring but i wasnt into sims either

Maybe because it's been released. :P

I haven't played it myself yet... But one of my friends who was completely hyped up about it played it, and finished with an unsatisfied "meh"... Apparently it's good for a while, then you get to space age, populate a few other planets, then loses it's appeal.

The lack of real time battles with other "Spores" is probably why it wasn't that good. I haven't played the PC version yet, but from what I've heard this is what it seems to be lacking amongst other things.

A shame really, as the game had potential. It's only a matter of time until they release an expansion...

i love the game a bit repetitive at moments but over all good
