I recently heard of this game, via CAD, a new Spiderman game that is *gasp* not a movie tie in!



This actually looks very good, which I'm glad of, I myself am a pretty big comic book geek, and one of my all time favorites has been your friendly neighborhood Spiderman. So, I'm glad to see a game introducing an original plot, and very intuitive looking combat, here's another vid for your digressions.

I'll be getting the 360 version when it comes out in October, and will write up a review when I get it XD

Well all the recent Spiderman games I've played have disappointed me. They are fun at first, but lose their value quite quickly. Spiderman 3 for the 360 for instance seemed amazing at first as you could free roam the city and the web slinging was quite fun. But the combat got repetitive and there wasn't much going on.

Friend or Foe was ok, the best part was playing as Venom, aside from that nothing amazing IMO. This one looks like it has some potential, I'll probably give the demo a go if they release one.

Holy smack. This is making me look forward to a Marvel game again.

I heard emo spiderman is in this, so I won't be touching it, thnx.

As a note, Black Suit Spidey is not 'emo' Spiderman, in fact, in the comic continuity, the Black Suit never did that to Spiderman, it was just another annoying thing from the third movie. If he does get the black suit in this, it will either be: The one Reid Richards made for him, (That he wore several times, including the Civil War story arc) or something will happen that will make him and the Venom Symbitoe team up...

Okay, done ranting, I just hate it when the Black Suit is called Emo Spiderman...

I actually never considered the balck suit as emo spidey. I thought of Peter Parker as emo in the movie.. But I reckon the black spidey was epic awesomeness.

I always looked at the Black Spidey as the more cunning bad ass side to his character. A thumb up so to speak.

i read a little article about it, and it said emo spidy IS in the game. OH NOZ!

but yeah...I don't care...the last good spiderman game was that one on the megadrive....man that rocked.

I stopped playing spider-man games after the second movie came out. I got so tired of getting that stupid girls balloon from the Evil sky scapers! lol

But this one seems promising...looking foreword to the release.

This one looks pretty rad. And I'm hoping it delivers after the Spidey 3 game. Wolverine being in is a big selling point. I'm interested in how that will work.
