The new sonic game coming out (supposedly) at the end of this year actually looks alright to me. Not quite sure of this whole "Werehog" thing though....

I'm glad to see them (At least trying to) go back to traditional side-scrolling sonic, so it's more than likely gonna be better than the previous stuff (Secret Rings, and the 360/PS3 game)

I didn't have much love for it. I didn't like the demo, and what I played of the full game seemed really clunky.

I've got the game, and played through the whole thing... And I loved it. The only problem I had with it (and probably gonna be this new one too) is that the voice acting is TERRIBLE!!! They use the same voice actors from the newer TV series... And they're like 12 years old, I swear to god.

But as for it being "clunky", the only problem I found was that you were sometimes a little to quick for the camera... So if you were being chased by a boulder (this is an example) and you gotta run around corners, then sometimes you'll find yourself into the whole "leap of faith" thing.

yeah i mentioned this on one of my last blogs, i have a whole article on it in EGM. i cant wait for that to come out... side scrolling sonic game for a console... its been forever since i bought one of those.

Yeah, that's why I posted this. I saw it on your blog and it reminded me of these videos that I'd seen like a week before.

It might be good.

I played the previous one for the 360 (only the demo) and it was OK. I felt that the DreamCast's 3D Sonic was better though (Sonic Adventure). THAT was a good 3D Sonic adaptation.

The werehog theme is very intriguing to me. I would buy this as long as it is available on the Wii.

I think It's gonna be.. Not sure.. I'll look into it.
