Rayman, Raving Rabbids 2
Oh joy. Amongst my first three wii titles i found this. Rayman, Raving Rabbids 2, its essentially a party game, with Creepy? Cute? Funny? little rabbits(Rabbids) that have landed on earth, or something.

and basically, you, as rayman, or whoever. has to go on a series of minigames to get costumes and unlockable events. Some of the costumes, frankly make me laugh,

Some of the events are rather Quirky, aswell, There are some, whereby the game takes on a very Guitar Hero-esque platform, where you Have to swink your Wiimote and Nunchuk in time witht he music, and then spin, and drum, and twist, on some occations, while the group around you gaze at the wildly dancing rayman, wondering in awe, just who the heck though up many of the themes and ideas for this zany game

but frankly, most of the minigames are immencely short, but after each trip(one in a diferent art of the globe) you unlock special shooting events, and these, are my favorite sections in this short title.

You don a plungergun, and essentially, youhave a backdrop, that is a real video sequence. from a real life place, and the developers have inserted "raving Rabbids" uopn the top, that try to take you out with plungers, and baguettes, and a number of odd things. the main aim, to not get hit, and to collect the most points.

when playing alone, to be honest, this title lacks any real replayyability factor, you say to yourself " well, theres some stuff i need to unlock on Rayman, Raving Rabbids 2," but then you remmeber what a boring game it has become, since you have gone past the point of discovery, and then say " oh, i'll go play Wii Sports, instead"

So, i give this game a 3/10 i did enjoy this on my first play through, but in hindsight, due to its immencely poor ability to keep you comming back for more, it probably wouldent have been worth the money you will have paid to get it.

RE: Rayman, Raving Rabbids 2
Interesting, I thought it would have been better than that.

The only "real" party games for the Wii that I've played were Mario Party and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games which were both good IMO. As for the mini games, I personally liked the ones from Mario & Sonic more, but overall Mario Party can provide much longer and varied gameplay.

I really like this game. Although I agree it's not one to play alone but it wasn't made to be played alone either. The Wii is about fun and coming together and having fun. Raving Rabbids is a prime example of just how that not alone part comes into play. So if you look at it from that aspect the game is really a lot better than you are describing. I give it a 7/10 for fun factor and countless hours of drunk sober laughing.

Yeah that's a good point about this game being played alone. Party games are usually meant to be played with another human therefore playing it alone won't be as fun even if you have decent AI.

RE: Rayman, Raving Rabbids 2
Well I got a chance to play it today at a friend's house.

The multiplayer games are pretty good, especially the hunter game. It's the PG version of House of the Dead lol. I'd say it's worth getting if you plan to have people over to play it with. Also the games are diverse, so it's not the same mini game over and over again. The soccer game was quite fun as well as the one where you pull the worms from the teeth.
