First of all, why the hell are you creating another thread about the same thing?

You said no one really commented on anything except the pricing, but that is EXACTLY what you are doing right now!

I've commented on your question about games..so no, "peeps" haven't just commented on the cost.

Just checked out the link for alone in the dark 3 and sc4 and i agree from they 2 post it appears they are having problems with slowdown on ps3, but are u saying there never ever been the same prob with an xbox game getting delayed for issues???

firstly noone has said it's getting less exclusive games then the 360, the way exclusive works at the moment, is that if it isn't a first party game, then it seem to get released on the rival console after about 10 months anyway.

I've never said there has never ever been a single delay in the existence of the 360, it just so happens that when it comes to mutiformat games, the 360 version nearly always happens to be released first and seems to be the better version, as it doesn't have no bugs or slowdowns.

I think you may find that Fox bases the fact that the xbox360 has more exclusives than the ps3 and he says this shows its a better console.

So you are saying that the xbox games have less bugs then ps3 and then is most games not just a small few.

CONCLUSION
While we can't definitively name one console as having better multi-platform releases across the board, there's a clear winner among these four games: PlayStation 3 beats the Xbox 360 handily. Call of Duty 4 plays nearly the same on both systems, differing only in superior online integration on PlayStation 3. With Devil May Cry 4, the game is all-around better on PlayStation 3 (despite the horrendous installation process). Burnout Paradise emerges as decidedly better on Sony's system thanks to EA Criterion's decision to make it the leading version of the game. The exact opposite is true for Assassin's Creed where Xbox 360 beats out its PlayStation 3 counterpart visually.

Judging by what we've seen with these recent games, you may be better off picking up PlayStation 3 versions of high-profile multi-platform games for the time being. The notion that PlayStation 3 ports are inherently inferior to Xbox 360 simply doesn't hold water these days. Some games do perform worse on Sony's console--Blacksite: Area 51 has been plagued with performance issues, for instance, and The Orange Box suffers from groan-inducing load times and chugging framerates.

These issues are slowly being addressed, though, as many publishers are starting to churn out multi-platform releases with an eye for the PlayStation 3. LucasArts recently announced an initiative to make the PS3 their leading platform for development, joining a growing wave of developers seeking to improve multi-platform games heading to Sony's console. With any luck, this movement will result in better performance for all gamers, Xbox 360 and PS3 alike. For now though, just enjoy fragging terrorists, crashing cars, and slicing demons in half on your PlayStation 3.

I think at some point we will learn this discussion will only be resolved when these consoles come to the end of there life span. But as long as peeps keep posting i will keep responding.

Can anyone tell me if im doing better at staying on topic and responding to what im being asked ;o)

When quoting a info from an article use " " please.

anyway, let me point this out to you from that article:

"The common wisdom is that Xbox 360 versions are typically better than their PS3 counterparts, and this is true in part. The PlayStation 3 2006 launch lineup was choked with quickie ports that did little to tap into the system's power, and a few high-profile games (Madden 08, for one) were undeniably superior on the Xbox 360. But as you'll soon see, that trend is changing...and fast."

Apparently the trend is changing and fast, only not. because if that was the case then surely Soul Caliber 5 and Alone In The dark, which are new games, would have been the same or superior. But they wasn't.

granted it's only 2 games, but time will tell how well that article stands.

and as for trying to defend the PS3 when it comes down to Mutiformat games, don't, because even that article says it right there:

"The common wisdom is that Xbox 360 versions are typically better than their PS3 counterparts, and this is true in part."

And I don't see it drastically changing at all.

RE: Ps3 and xbox 360,
this thread was a total de-ja-vu lol deekz also keeps making the same point again and again making no new counter argument (sorry mate but its true)..

im sure last time the conclusion was

ps3 = shittier
more expensive
has longer loading time
slightly faster CPU
shit six access

xbox 360= superior in almost everyway

after this why the hell do i still really want a ps3 :(

RE: Ps3 and xbox 360,
I really don't understand why this topic continues to be shoved down our throats.
Wow Deekz posted up info of ONE gamesite saying the Ps3 is superior, check them all and it will be a tie.
Look Deekz, we are not saying the Ps3 is complete garbage, but there are elements that it doesn't need, and people are tired of high priced consoles. Xbox 360 has been superior because the flaws have been fixed, and it is the only American console on the market. And it is Americans buying consoles for the majority so....
