Oh MY GOSH!!
This game is SO Japanese as to hurt, there are people who run around with Butt-shaped hair and kinky-looking leather outfits making cliche threats and beating people with ninja moves.
The the 10-year old sister of the main character is in a micro-skirt, it doesn't even go past her waist.
The gameplay may be good, haven't played much only seeing cutscenes.
But any game that opens with a Japanese TV show Jingle cannot be another Halo.

This game is out for the PS2 and PC as well.

Too bad they don't have a PC demo :(

Anyway, from what I saw on their website it looks promising. The DreamCast's Phantasy Star game was highly popular, I'm guessing a majority of those players are excited about this new release.

It's not new, it is like 4 years old, It goes for 18 bucks at gamecrazy, so you might be able to pick it up.

Crappy game. You have to pay a monthly fee to play it... IT'S NOT EVEN AN MMO! There's like a 6 person cap per room, so WTF? I'm already paying for High Speed internet and XBL, now they want me to pay for their crap little 6 person equipment hording stat-pading festival?

This game needs to be burned, I've played it and it's utterly boring. Especially the single player, which is the only FREE part. Two Worlds is better than this crap, and frankly it kinda sucked.

I wish I hadn't paid $45 for it.

I'm lucky I rented the crap. Seriously though, sucks for anybody "experimenting" with it by buying it at launch.

Xbox Live: 50-60$ annually

High Speed Cable: 25-50$ monthly (depending on package)

Phantasy Star Universe: 60-50$ (depending on where you bought it)

Phantasy Star Online: 10$ monthly (MORE THAN XBOX LIVE!)

Actually PAYING all of this just to play PSU online with only 6 people and a lame combat system: Priceless!

Hey, Ima noob here. But I've played the game myself, got it second hand for bout 10 bucks. I haven't even considered playing it on live. Seems like a waste of time.

I mean, sure the single player was fun for a short while, but you kinda get a bit over it, and honestly some of the normal enemies are harder than the bosses. The very last boss... I had to go somewhere for an hour, came back and I was still alive with full health.... I mean come on!!! Last boss!!! NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!!!

I hate when that happens...I've played other games like that. You get to the boss, expect an amazing fight, and instead you struggled more in the normal enemies on the way there than on the actual boss..

However, for $10 I think you got a decent deal. It's about 5 bucks more than the rental fee at most places.

15 bucks to rent a game!!! serious, god its only about 5 bucks to rent here.
