Sure, recent iterations of "Tom" have been dumb (as soon as they gave him a visible mouth and eyes), and nearly all recent shows on Toonami have been complete and utter crap (here's looking at you, Ben 10 and Storm Hawks), but still, I spent many a childhood afternoon watching Super Robot Week's and such.

Let us reminice about good times with Toonami. I started watching in 1998 and stopped around probably 2003, but damn this shit was the bomb up until they started throwing in crap like Teen Titans and One Piece.

...umm... i believe a tear just ran down my cheek... i used to watch that all the time back in the day... but they are probably going away cause the shows they have now suck. ill never forget the first time i saw toonami... tom was still in beta... and he showed me my first episode of dragon ball z... but more importantly my first episode of cowboy bebop........ excuse me.... ;_;

Normally I would stay silent to the affairs that pertain to America, etc. But I can relate.

About 5-6 years ago, my favourite morning cartoons show Cheez TV was shut down... And replaced by some new one called Toasted TV which is still going on today... It really saddened me, since the two hosts for Cheez TV were funny, and actually had some recognition of intelligence in the audience. But NOW, in this Toasted TV, the hosts treat the audience like BABIES!!! I mean sure, little kids watch the show, but not ALL little kids have the mental capacity of a fetus...

So I stopped watching 'em... Not to mention that when I started high school I had to catch the bus at 7:15am, when the show started at 7am, so not much point watching..

Maybe your damnation worked. Hehe. Lets hope so for your sake Snake. Toonami has been great, but I haven't had access to for a couple of years anyway. In my region they shifted from the analog broadcast to cable subscribers and satellite. I miss the old batman and superman cartoons. But I am getting older and really care less and less for cartoons. Give me more action and blood any day.
