Okami
Right, first off, If you don't own this game, BUY IT! If you owned the orginal PS2 version, buy it again. Games like Okami, rarely get a sequel, but Okami has a second chance, and got a port.
secondary, alot of US reviewers have been criticizing the brush controls, because they take time to learn, let me say that the brush controls are good, They DO take time to get the hang off, but it's like japanese painting, where you do carefree strokes and quick flicks of the wrist, once you master it, you wonder how you ever got it wrong. 3rd, let me tell you about this game(lol all these points are in the wrong order), It's like zelda, alot like zelda, but imo it's better than any zelda game I've ever played, It's graphics are kinda cell shaded, it is like looking at a japanese painting thats...moving. I've found myself just jumping on a rock, and staring at the background and the area in awe. I won't go into the story, as I don't want to tell you anything about that, but you do play as a wolf, and like zelda you have an flea who is like Navi, helps you out, and such things. If you love the zelda games / love and respect games / have an interest in Japanese Culture, you owe it to yourself to own this game, please go buy it, I beg of you, so a sequel could possibly be made!

RE: Okami
I never heard of it up until now..And after watching the trailer it definitely seems impressive. I hear that the controls are used efficiently as well.

RE: Okami
Eh I had a little fun when I played Okami once, but for what it's worth, it didn't "Shock and Awe" me like it did most people.
Was fun for an hour or so, then I got bored. ![]() http://getoutofherestalker.blogspot.com/ |

I swear, that you'd be very happy with buying Okami, The only 3 games that have made me proud to be a gamer on the wii, has been, No More Heroes, Zack and Wiki and Okami, the last time I played a game so beautifully made as Okami was years back when i played Shenmue and Skies Of Arcadia, And those 2 games was my the top 2 best game i've ever played, now Okami sits above them. BUY IT!

RE: Okami
A lot of Japanese oriented games are good, the problem is that most of them are not in English and it's hard to understand what's going on at times.
Luckily this game is in English, so the language issue is not a problem. Might get it later on..Right now I'm striving for GTA IV / Mario Kart Wii. Xbox Gamer Blog Read The Forum Rules Pwnem Veteran <- This explains what it is and how to become one. |

RE: Okami
rotfl at "all your base" another good one was "welcome to die" Which i believe was from a fighting game...can't recall the name. it was based on superheros from marvel i think.
@ GaMeR forget MK: wii I traded it in after about 4 days of owning it.

RE: Okami
I could tell Mario Kart was losing its ground. Double Dash wasn't as exciting as Mario Kart 64 was.
They need to go ahead and work on the next console and name it revolution like they were with the Wii. I will admit I was disappointed when they changed it. ![]() http://www.myspace.com/phatbowser |

RE: Okami
Mario Kart DS was the best MK, snaking ftw. but i think for the next MK, the online mode should have a Snaking mode, and a Non snaking mode.
