No More Heroes Review
No More Heros - Ubisoft
Well by far this has to be one of THE best games for Gamers of the Older Age for any Wii owner. Well with out any further delay, heres my review for the epic game No More Heroes. "The name is Travis Touchdown, and I am #1". Welcome to the world of Assassins trying to be the top of their ranks. You don't know from the beginning of the game but further down the line with higher ranks you will know more. The only thing on your mind in this game is how to live, and how to be...Number 1. With your Beam Sword at hand and "Baddies" in front of you, a choice must be made, Kill or Be Killed. You are #11 and you got one hell of a ride to get to Rank 1. The music is amazing and the sound effects for everything sounds in place as it needs to be. Nothing sounds better than a fresh head getting cut mid-afternoon. Pros: The Controls are dashingly easy and movement is a breeze. The game has way more than just swing your sword around like a maniac. You can customize your own Travis and choose different Weapons along the way. The Graphics are of a retro layout and not to mention the Hot German Chick guiding your way to the top. Plus charging your beam sword never ceases to make me laugh. Cons: Camera like some of the Wii games is a pain and you constantly have to press the C button to get you character facing forward. Sometimes the screen tells you to go up on the Wii-mote and you go up but it doesn't register so in the end it messes up your finishing mode. Defending yourself is alot harder than any Wii game on the market. Plus the Bosses are way over power and the sub-missions can be a little over stressful sometimes. With that in mind a personal note will be added. I love the story of this game and the way Travis acts like a bada** and always gets his way. In the end its you against the world. The reason I bought the Wii was this game and a few others but this game is worth full pop at the game-store. With that in mind ask yourself, are you #1? Game-Rate: I give it 4 Blood-Showered Suplexs / Out of 5 ![]() :Edits may be added in Future Reference: - JoeSchmo ![]()

RE: No More Heroes Review
I plan to at least rent this game in the near future as I've heard various good things about it. It's too bad there's no multiplayer though.
Also, I'm not sure if you're aware of it or not but there's a similar Wii game coming out sometime in 2009 called MadWorld which looks far more superior. I believe it's been previously discussed in the forum. That's worth checking out as well. I'm curious to know what you consider the replay value of this game to be though. Someone else on the forum had told me something about some unlockables in another thread about this game. RE: No More Heroes Review
To be honest with you GaMeR there are very few games without the multiplayer feature that I replay unless I am bored or if I find the game fun enough to replay it. Im like a nomatic gamer, just one game to another.

RE: No More Heroes Review
Yeah I know what you mean. I find that to be especially true with games that only offer the classic story mode. That's why games like GTA and the likes, have a great replay value in the sense that you are not tied down to the classic "go here, go there, you can't do this or that" etc.
