Nintendo to improve Wii Storage?
It looks like Nintendo acknowledges that Wii storage is currently not as efficient as it should be. The SD cards are fine and all, but in this day and age you need more than a couple of GBs to get by on your console.
Perhaps Nintendo will make an external harddrive add-on...the question is, will the price be reasonable? I'm personally not too worried about this issue as I hardly download any extra stuff to my Wii. And my SD cards should be enough to hold my scarce selection of VC/WiiWare titles. RE: Nintendo to improve Wii Storage?
Probably, I doubt it will plug into the Wiimote though :P
Most likely it will be some mini USB harddrive that will plug into the Wii itself. Counter Strike 300 Read The Forum Rules Pwnem Veteran <- This explains what it is and how to become one. |

RE: Nintendo to improve Wii Storage?
That is about the only way they can. USB ports are the only ports to support such things. Too bad they didn't leave an empty space inside the Wii and have an instruction guide to show how to install memory upgrades. Sounds great eh?

RE: Nintendo to improve Wii Storage?
i doubt u willl be able to put any games from virtual console on they wouldn't want to risk any piracy of the games so they definatly wouldn't make it usb would be too easy to rip to your computer :p

RE: Nintendo to improve Wii Storage?
Well Virtual Console games are locked to the Wii from which they were purchased from, so there's no piracy problems with putting them on external devices as if your friend plugged it into their Wii the game won't work.
