Nintendo Channel Review
The Nintendo Channel is the latest channel on the Nintendo Wii, currently free to download.
The main objective of this channel is to keep gamers informed of new games being released, and allowing them to see video clips, and game play demos of new games being released.
A favored section on the channel is in the find titles for you section. There you can purchase games you like, rate games you have played, and download DS game demos, (very enjoyable).
Videos look great, buffering is not bad, overall one of the best channels available on the Wii right now.
I give this channel a 9/10.

RE: Nintendo Channel Review
My only complaints about the Nintendo Channel is:

Not enough Videos
The rate a game section is poorly put together, "how can a casual game be for hardcore gamers?"
Needs more DS demo's
Should have Wii demos

RE: Nintendo Channel Review
I agree on most points. Usually they change the DS demos once every two weeks.
And my first thought was for Wii demos.

RE: Nintendo Channel Review
Well you'd need at least a 1GB SD card to store a Wii demo. So the storage is one of the issues as the Wii doesn't have a big harddrive like the 360/PS3. But as I said using an SD card would get the job done.

Another issue with the demos is that since it hasn't been implemented for a while I doubt that they'll make demos for existing titles, so perhaps only future titles will have demos. Perhaps we should start a petition right now so we could hopefully get our hands on a Mad World demo :P

That would be great. And I don't know if anyone else saw it, but about a month ago, their was an advertisement for a an animated series coming to the Wii that you can watch in the Nintendo Channel I believe. It looked good. Now if only it had a tv tuner built in.......

RE: Nintendo Channel Review
Well a TV tuner would be quite useless IMO as if you want to watch TV just unplug your Wii..

Some sort of premium channels implementation on the other hand might be a good idea.
