Yes, the kind of ice that will rot your hand off it is so cold. It will be needed for the gate.

what gate is this?

The Dead gate. I own that one. It isn't much but it was stolen from me by GaMeR. It has human parts that help attach it and sub zero ice can damage it enough for me to reclaim it. It makes for a good lookout while robbing the Pwn$ vault.
